Blind, but Deaf

There are some opinions,
and we all know that they are right
for they follow intelligence
and have (in the end) a justice
which prevails.

Each woman and man,
equal (shocking as that may be)
to live their lives as they wish
and contribute to humanity
which prevails.

No one wants to hear those words,
such opinions are a lost cause
fighting and bitterness is easier
and seem unstoppable
which prevails.

No longer should we speak up,
tarnishing our image with the truth
we should be insincere like everything else
those views should remain a mystery

their lies [historically/everlastingly] prevail.
